Italian rights to Syrian author Samar Yazbek’s ‘Cinnamon‘ have been sold to Castelvecchi. The book should be available by Spring 2011.
Castelvecchi is a Roman publisher.

World English rights to Khaled Khalifa’s In praise of hatred have been sold to Transworld, a company part of Random House Group Ltd. since 1999.
In praise of hatred was on the shortlist of the first edition of the Arab Man Booker prize awarded in 2008 in Abu Dhabi.
