Over the last decade, a new generation of Arabic novelists has been moving beyond the social realism of their predecessors to reach out to the world.

This year’s Cairo book fair will be held from January 28th to February 10th 2010, at the Cairo international fairground.

The 41st edition of the Cairo book fair is held this year from January 21st to February 2nd, with the UK as a guest of honour.
